The Waterways Guide is a community based website. Even with the Paddling Community embracing the Waterways Guide and contributing and revising the content, it will require ongoing webmaster support and further funding to keep the site free from advertising.
There are many projects currently underway that require additional funding to complete or implement. Police and Rescue has funded the development of a mobile APP for safe trip planning. This will enabe trips to be planned from a mobile and the plans left with Home Base. Due to limited funds the project uses only Apple devices.
